Sweden's Jesper Pettersson was suspended for one game by the IIHF early on Sunday and will miss the gold medal match against Finland.

The defenceman was involved in a scrum against Russia as time ran out of the World Junior semifinal game on Saturday, which was won 2-1 by the host nation.

Pettersson left penalty box at end of game and got involved as pushing and shoving broke out between the two teams.
