Munz: Jets wrap up road schedule against Capitals

The Winnipeg Jets (24-19-3) play their final road game of the regular season in Washington against the Capitals (25-18-2).
Washington leads Winnipeg by one point for first place in the Southeast Division standings. The Capitals have a game in hand on the Jets.
As for the Eastern Conference standings, the Jets are ninth with 51 points, one point behind the seventh-place Rangers and eighth-place Ottawa and are two points behind the sixth-place Islanders.
Ondrej Pavelec will start in goal.
Kyle Wellwood will not play tonight due to an upper body injury sustained Monday night in the 2-1 win over Buffalo. Head coach Claude Noel said Nik Antropov or Anthony Peluso will be options to fill that void.
James Wright is the lone Jet who has points in consecutive games with one goal and one assist in his last six periods.
The Capitals are coming off a 5-1 win in Montreal, which was their ninth win in their past 10 games.
Braden Holtby will start in goal.
Washington has the top-ranked power play in the NHL at 26%.
Mike Ribeiro is on a five-game point streak (one goal and eight assists). Alex Ovechkin 31 points (20 goals and 10 assists) in his last 20 games.
The Capitals have a 3-1 record against Winnipeg this season. Ovechkin leads all players in scoring during those four games with three goals and four assists.
Following tonight's game, the Jets fly home and prepare for their final regular season game Thursday night at MTS Centre against the Montreal Canadiens.
