The Winnipeg Jets (20-19-2) host the Florida Panthers (13-20-6) in a 7:00pm ct face off tonight at MTS Centre.
The Jets are two points behind Washington for first place in the Southeast Division standings.  Winnipeg also trails the New York Rangers by two points for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
Ondrej Pavelec starts in goal this evening.
Toby Enstrom will not play due to injury.  Paul Postma is expected to replace him.
Andrew Ladd is on a three-game point streak (one goal and three assists).
Bryan Little (one goal and three assists), Blake Wheeler (one goal and two assists), Evander Kane (one goal and two assists) and Kyle Wellwood (two goals) are on two-game point streaks.
Florida has won four of their last five games, including Sunday's 2-1 win at home against Ottawa.  The Senators outshot the Panthers 41-17.
Jacob Markstrom is expected to start in goal for the Panthers.
Tomas Fleischmann is on a six-game point streak (two goals and four assists).
Tomas Kopecky has four points (three goals and one assist) in his last three games.
Florida's power play is 7-for-14 in the last five games.
The Panthers are without Stephen Weiss, Kris Versteeg, Mike Weaver, Ed Jovanovski, Jose Theodore and Eric Selleck.
Peter Mueller did not travel to Winnipeg and will not play due to family reasons.
Quinton Howden plays an NHL game in his hometown for the first time in his career.  He has played 10 games with the Panthers this season.
Former Manitoba Moose Greg Rallo was recalled this morning from the AHL's San Antonio Rampage and will wear No. 37 tonight.
The Jets are 2-2 against the Panthers this season. In the head-to-head series, Florida has earned six of a possible eight points from Winnipeg.  Fleischmann leads Florida with six points (one goal and five assists) while rookie Jonathan Huberdeau has scored four goals.  Blake Wheeler (two goals and two assists) and Andrew Ladd (one goal and three assists) each have four points.
Following tonight's game, the Jets don't play again until Tuesday when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning.
