The (18-17-2) Winnipeg Jets continue a three-game road trip tonight against the (17-16-3) New York Islanders.
The Jets, winless in their last 3 games, are the top team in the NHL's Southeast Division with 38 points, four ahead of Carolina and Washington.  The Hurricanes host the Capitals tonight.  Carolina does have three games in hand on Winnipeg, while Washington has two.
Ondrej Pavelec will start in goal.
Head Coach Claude Noel told TSN 1290 this morning following an optional pregame skate that Mark Stuart will return to action after missing the last six games due to injury.  He will replace Grant Clitsome, who suffered an eye injury last night against the Rangers.  Clitsome is listed as day-to-day.
The Islanders are coming off a 3-1 win in New Jersey last night and have won 4 of their last 5 games.  They currently sit 9th in the Eastern Conference standings with 37 points.  The Rangers, also with 37 points, are 8th due to playing 1 less game.
Kevin Poulin will start in goal.  It's just his 4th appearance of the season.  He has an 0-2 record, 3.88 goals against average and .866 save percentage.
John Tavares leads the Islanders with 37 points.  He is second in the NHL with 22 goals.
The Jets are 1-0 against the Islanders this season following a 5-4 win January 27th at MTS Centre.  The two teams play again April 20th in Winnipeg.
Following tonight's game, the Jets fly to Montreal where they will have the day off.

Next action is Thursday at the Bell Centre vs the Canadiens (6:30ct on TSN 1290 / TSN Jets).
