Munz: Jets wrap up road trip against Devils

The Winnipeg Jets (12-11-1) conclude a four-game road trip tonight against the New Jersey Devils (11-9-5).
 
Ninth seeded Winnipeg enters the game one point behind the Rangers for the eighth and final playoff spot and two points behind New Jersey for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. 
 
Ondrej Pavelec starts in goal.
 
Head coach Claude Noel is making one change to his roster tonight as Derek Meech replaces Paul Postma.

The Devils did not have a pre-game skate this morning as they played in Carolina losiing 6-3 last night. Former Manitoba Moose Johan Hedberg started his eighth consecutive game in goal, but was pulled. Jeff Frazee made his NHL debut playing the final 18:36.
 
They have one win in their last nine games.
 
Ilya Kovalchuk is on a three-game point streak (two goals and two assists).
 
Patrick Elias has scored in three straight games.
 
Winnipeg native Travis Zajac has one assist in his last six games.
 
Winnipeg has a 2-0 record against New Jersey this season outscoring them 7-3. Ladd leads the Jets with three goals and one assist. Pavelec has both wins, a goals against average of 1.50 and .939 save percentage. Hedberg lost both games, his goals against is 3.10 and save percentage is .872.
