Canadiens acquire F Czarnik from Kings for F Quailer

The Montreal Canadiens have acquired forward Robert Czarnik from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forward Steve Quailer.

Czarnik has a goal and four assists in 29 games this season with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.

The 24-year-old Detroit native was selected 63rd overall in the third round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Kings.

Quailer has contributed a goal and four assists in 12 games this season with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL.

The 24-year-old was picked by the Canadiens in the third round, 86th overall, in the 2008 Entry Draft.
