Eyes on Edmonton
TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports that the Edmonton Oilers would consider moving forward Sam Gagner provided the return was a top-six forward, a top-four defenceman or a starting goalie.
Other Oilers Too?
Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal believes that the Oilers will listen to offers on many players including goaltenders Devan Dubnyk and Ilya Bryzgalov, as well as pending unrestricted free agents Ales Hemsky, Nick Schultz and Ryan Jones.
Katie Carrera of the Washington Post writes that with three healthy goaltenders, Braden Holtby, Philipp Grubauer and Michal Neuvirth, the Washington Capitals could eventually reach a point where they have to make a move.
