Enough of Buff
Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press (http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/opinion/columnists/time-to-dust-dustin-239005421.html) thinks the Jets need to trade Dustin Byfuglien and get the most they can for him.
Whether it's at the trade deadline or this summer when the salary cap rises and loosens up the market, Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff has to do what he can to get a return for Byfuglien.
Voted off the Island?
Arthur Staple of the Long Island Newsday (http://www.newsday.com/sports/columnists/arthur-staple/is-andrew-macdonald-s-future-with-the-islanders-1.6734784) questions Andrew MacDonald's future with the Islanders. MacDonald, 27, is in the final-year of his current contract and can become an unrestricted free agent July 1.
If the Islanders can't lift themselves out of the Metropolitan Division basement nor come to terms with MacDonald, then he could become the Isles' most valuable trade chip at the deadline.
