ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Cody Jamieson scored four times and added an assist to lead the Rochester Knighthawks past the Toronto Rock 12-8 on Saturday in National Lacrosse League action.
Cory Vitarelli and Stephen Keogh both scored twice for Rochester (3-0), which is the defending league champion. Johnny Powless, Craig Point, Brad Self and Mac Allen all chipped in for the Knighthawks.
Stephan Leblanc and Rob Hellyer led Toronto (1-2) with two goals each, while captain Colin Doyle, Garrett Billings, Sandy Chapman and Damon Edwards also scored. Billings added three assists as well.
Matt Vinc made 38 saves to earn the win in net for Rochester, while Nick Rose stopped 34-of-45 shots in net for the Rock.
The Knighthawks scored twice on their five power plays, while Toronto went 1 for 3 with the man advantage.
