CFL issues unspecified fines to three players

TORONTO -- The CFL fined three players Thursday for their actions during games last week.

The league fined Winnipeg offensive lineman Glenn January for a chop block against Toronto defensive lineman Khalif Mitchell in the Argonauts' 35-19 road win Friday night. Bombers' defensive back Teague Sherman was also penalized for blocking an opponent below the waist on a kickoff return during the same game.

B.C. receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux was fined for using a prop during a TD celebration in the Lions' 31-21 win over the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday.

As per league policy, the amounts of the fines were not disclosed.
