MADRID, Spain -- Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Gareth Bale won't travel with Wales for its upcoming World Cup qualifiers. Instead, he will stay in the Spanish capital to recover from a leg injury.

Ancelotti says Bale "will stay here to train 15 days and will be ready for our next game" against Malaga on Oct. 19. Bale will miss Madrid's game at Levante on Saturday.

Bale, whom Madrid paid 100 million euros to Tottenham for this off-season, has already hurt his left leg twice and missed three games for Madrid.

Wales is in last place of Europe Group A. It plays Macedonia next Friday and Belgium four days later.
