OTTAWA -- The Canadian women's soccer team has added two European friendlies to its 2013 schedule.

Canada will take on England on April 7 at the New York Stadium in Rotherham, England. Canada has won five of six matches against England dating back to 1995.

Canada will also visit Germany on June 19 at a venue to be determined, the Canadian Soccer Association announced Monday. Germany has won all 10 previous meetings against Canada since 1994.

The Canadian women are preparing for the March 4-13 Cyprus Women's Cup. Canada opens against Switzerland on March 6 in Larnaca.
