LONDON -- Chelsea says a deal has been agreed with Fluminense to sign highly rated Brazilian right back Wallace in the January transfer window.

The European champions say the 18-year-old Wallace will remain with his Brazilian club until the next off-season.

Wallace, who will join fellow Brazilians David Luiz, Ramires, Oscar and Lucas Piazon at Stamford Bridge, is an under-20 international and considered one of Fluminense's most promising players.

Brazilian media have previously reported that Chelsea will pay about $7 million for Wallace.
