NEW YORK -- Vancouver Whitecaps forward Camilo Sanvezzo finished a standout Major League Soccer season by being named the league's player of the week for the fourth time this year.

The Brazilian scored his first career hat trick as the Whitecaps finished the season with a 3-0 win over the Colorado Rapids on Sunday.

The three goals gave Camilo 22 on the season, and the Golden Boot as the top goal scorer in the league.

Despite missing the playoffs, a Whitecap won the player of the week award seven times this season. Striker Kenny Miller, goaltender Brad Knighton and forward Kekuta Manneh won the other awards.
