VANCOUVER -- The Vancouver Whitecaps have waived centre back Martin Bonjour.
The 27-year-old Argentine scored one goal in 31 appearances for Vancouver, joining the team a year ago after spending the previous four years playing in Uruguay.
The Whitecaps opened their MLS training camp on Monday.
After wrapping up training in Vancouver on Friday, the team was headed to Arizona for nine days with pre-season matches scheduled versus the New England Revolution and Houston Dynamo.
