The Montreal Impact exercised its option on 11 players ahead of Friday's MLS re-entry draft. The Impact now has 20 players under contract for the 2013 season.

The club exercised its option on goalkeeper Evan Bush, defenders Jeb Brovsky, Hassoun Camara, Dennis Iapichino, Calum Mallace, Zarek Valentin and Karl W. Ouimette, as well as midfielders Lamar Neagle, Sanna Nyassi, Collen Warner and Sinisa Ubiparipovic.

Nine other players were confirmed for 2013, including Patrice Bernier, Davy Arnaud, Marco Di Vaio, Alessandro Nesta, Matteo Ferrari, Nelson Rivas, Felipe, Troy Perkins and Andrew Wenger.

"We are very pleased to be able to bring back the majority of our team for 2013, including several key members." said Impact sporting director Nick De Santis. "We feel very strongly about the foundation of the team that has been put in place. We look forward to seeing this group continue to grow together as we direct our focus on the challenges of 2013."

In addition, midfielder Bryan Arguez, as well as forwards Bernardo Corradi and Miguel Montano will not be back with the club in 2013.
