Toronto FC comes from behind to secure draw with Dynamo

Joao Plata scored in the 81st minute to give Real Salt Lake a 1-1 draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday night. Plata received the ball out wide from Kyle Beckerman, took one touch to get inside the penalty area, and sent a blast to the far post. Real Salt Lake (7-4-8) has won just once in eight matches, but kept Vancouver (6-4-9) from getting its first win in Utah in six attempts. Full Story.

Bernardo Anor scored twice and the Columbus Crew ended a seven-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory over the Montreal Impact on Saturday. Columbus (5-7-8) drew within a point of the final playoff spot in the East. Montreal (3-10-5) remained with the fewest points in the league. Full Story.
