SYDNEY, Australia -- Australia has added a match against Wales to its tour of Europe in November, raising the possibility of the Wallabies' first Grand Slam in nearly 30 years.
The Australian Rugby Union said in a statement Thursday that the Wallabies will play Wales at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Nov. 30.
Australia opens its tour on Nov. 2 against England in London and then plays tests against Italy, Ireland and Scotland on the following weekends.
England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales make up the so-called Home Nations.
Of the eight Australia teams that have attempted to beat all four nations, only the 1984 Wallabies coached by Alan Jones and led by Andrew Slack have succeeded.
