Flames sign Colborne to two-year, $2.55M contract extension

The Calgary Flames have signed centre Joe Colborne to a two-year contract extension worth $1.275 million per season.

The 24-year-old set personal highs with 10 goals and 18 assists in 80 games last season.

In 96 career NHL games, the Calgary native has 11 goals and 23 assists with a minus- 15 rating. 

Colborne was drafted in the first round (16th overall) of the 2008 NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins before moving to Toronto and being acquired in September by the Flames from the Leafs.
