WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane will be making the trip to Chicago and will be a game-time decision when the club takes on the Blackhawks on Wednesday.

Kane, who has an unspecified injury, has nine points (six goals, three assists) in 15 games this season.

He has nine points (six goals, three assists) in 15 games this season.

Winnipeg head coach Claude Noel is hoping the Jets can put together the same kind of game they managed without Kane when they beat Detroit on Monday.

More than the 4-2 win, Noel was happy to see the Jets execute many of the things he's been preaching for some time.

Winnipeg's improved puck control created scoring chances against one of the Eastern Conference's stronger teams.
