Ottawa Senators head coach Paul MacLean said on Monday that goalie Craig Anderson is day-to-day with a stiff neck.
Anderson was hurt during Sunday's shootout loss to the Dallas Stars. The netminder appeared to take a knee to the head when he was hit by Stars forward Valeri Nichushkin in the overtime period and was taken off the ice on a stretcher.
MacLean said that Anderson's return will "depend on (his) level of comfort" and that all tests on the injury came back negative.
The Senators will be calling up Nathan Lawson from Binghamton (AHL) to back up Robin Lehner for Tuesday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
