Jets agree to terms with F Blomqvist

The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with forward Axel Blomqvist on a three-year, two-way, entry level contract with an average annual value of $608,000.

The 18-year-old Blomqvist has been assigned to the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the WHL.

Blomqvist played in three games with the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the WHL this season, recording one goal and one assist.

Last season, the Osby, Sweden native appeared in 59 games with the Hurricanes and posted seven goals and 26 assists with 66 penalty minutes.
