The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed forward Jack Skille to a two-way contract.

The 26-year-old scored three goals and nine assists in 40 games for the Florida Panthers last season.

Skille was drafted in the first round (seventh overall) by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2005 Draft.

The veteran of six NHL seasons has 20 goals and 29 assists in 178 career games. He became an unrestricted free agent on July 2 when the Panthers did not tender him a qualifying offer.
