The Winnipeg Jets signed four players on Saturday, including unrestricted free agent defenceman Adam Pardy.
The team also inked forwards Andrew Gordon, Jerome Samson, and John Albert to new deals.
Pardy, 29, signed a one-year, $600,000 contract. He appeared in 17 games for the Buffalo Sabres last season and had four assists. In 200 NHL contests with Calgary, Dallas, and Buffalo, the native of Bonavista, Newfoundland has four goals and 29 assists.
Pardy was a sixth-round choice of the Flames in 2004.
The trio of forwards that the Jets signed all played primarily in the American Hockey League last season. Gordon, 27, had 19 goals and 13 assists in 54 games for the Chicago Wolves, and also appeared in six games for the Vancouver Canucks. Samson, 25, counted seven goals and 18 assists in 37 games for the Charlotte Checkers. And Albert, 24, played in the Winnipeg system for the St. John's IceCaps and had three goals and two assists in 24 games.
