The New York Islanders did a little bit of everything when the free agent frenzy began on Friday.

The club re-signed unrestricted free agent goaltender Evgeni Nabokov to a one-year, $3.25 deal, locked up restricted free agent defenceman Travis Hamonic to a seven-year, $27 million deal and signed restricted free agent forward Pierre-Marc Bouchard to a two-year $2 million contract.

The Islanders claimed Nabokov off re-entry waivers after the Detroit Red Wings signed him from Europe two seasons ago. The 37-year-old didn't immediately report to the Islanders at the time.

The veteran goalie posted a .910 save percentage, 2.50 goals against average and 23-11-7 record in helping the Islanders reach the post-season for the first time since 2007.

For his career, the former ninth-rounder from Russia has a .912 save percentage and a 2.42 goals against average.

Bouchard, 29, played 43 games with the Minnesota Wild last season, scoring eight goals and 12 assists last season.

Last season, Hamonic scored three goals and had seven assists in 48 games.

In 183 career games, Hamonic has scored 10 goals and 50 assists.
