The Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with Yale Bulldogs forward Andrew Miller on a one-year entry level contract.

As many as 15 teams were in the mix for the 24-year-old's services.

Miller played four seasons in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference, accumulating 42 goals and 114 assists in 141 games.

The Bulldogs captain had a career season in 2012-13, leading Yale with a career-high 18 goals and 41 points and received the honour as Ivy League Player of the Year.

He was a standout in the 2013 NCAA Frozen Four Championship, leading the men's hockey team to their first NCAA National Championship, including scoring the game-winning goal in overtime of the semi-final against the University of Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks. He was also named the 2013 Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA Frozen Four Tournament.
