Flames' Tanguay out 4-6 weeks with grade 2 MCL sprain

Alex Tanguay's season appears to be over.

The Calgary Flames announced Saturday that Tanguay suffered a grade 2 MCL sprain last night and will be out 4-6 weeks.

The regular season ends April 27 and the Calgary Flames are well back of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

In 40 games this season 11 goals and 16 assists.
