The Carolina Hurricanes claimed forward Adam Hall off waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.

Hall is expected to be in the line-up when the Hurricanes face the Lightning on Saturday night.

The 32-year-old from Kalamazoo, Michigan will be joining his sixth NHL club. He was a second-round pick of the Nashville Predators in 1999 and has also skated for the New York Rangers, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, and Tampa Bay.

He has four assists in 20 games for the Lightning this season. In 585 career NHL contests, Hall has compiled 65 goals and 82 assists, along with 13 points in 49 playoff appearances.
