The Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with forward Brad Winchester on a one-year contract on Wednesday.

Winchester recorded 27 points in 37 games last season with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. The 32-year-old tied for seventh on the team in regular-season assists, and added one helper in two Calder Cup playoff games with the Admirals.

The Madison, Wis., native has tallied 68 points in 390 career NHL games with Edmonton, Dallas, St. Louis, Anaheim and San Jose, and 132 points in 232 AHL games with Toronto, Edmonton, Hamilton, Iowa, Peoria and Milwaukee over 10 seasons from 2003 to 2013.

Prior to his professional career, Winchester played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin from 1999 to 2003.

Winchester was originally selected by Edmonton in the second round, 35th overall, of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
