Vancouver Canucks forward David Booth is out indefinitely with an ankle sprain, Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault revealed on Monday.
Booth was lost in Vancouver's 5-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night. The 28-year-old winger was hurt on a play beating out an icing before getting checked into the boards late in the first period.
Vigneault disclosed Booth's ankle sprain after the Canucks 3-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Monday.
Booth had a goal and three points in 12 games for Vancouver so far this season.
