Columbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky was fined $10,000 for his hit on defenceman Rob Scuderi in Tuesday night's loss to the Los Angeles Kings.

Midway through the second period, Dubinsky hit Scuderi into the boards and was assessed a five-minute major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct. Kings forward Mike Richards then engaged Dubinsky in a fight immediately after the incident.

Scuderi's right eye swelled up but he stayed in the game.
