Falcons release veteran guard Reynolds

Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Falcons released veteran guard Garrett Reynolds on Tuesday.

Reynolds appeared in 15 games (10 starts) last season.

The 6-foot-7, 310-pounder started 23 of 42 games over five seasons with the Falcons. He was selected by Atlanta in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of North Carolina.

The Falcons signed offensive tackle Gabe Carimi on Monday.
