RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have signed nine players to 2014 future contracts, including quarterback B.J. Daniels.
Super Bowl champion Seattle announced the signings Thursday. Daniels was the last of the nine to be signed after spending part of the season on Seattle's active roster and ending the year on the practice squad. Daniels was released from the active roster Nov. 16 and re-signed to the practice squad two days later.
Seattle also signed cornerback Akeem Auguste, wide receiver Phil Bates, defensive tackle Michael Brooks, defensive tackle Dewayne Cherrington, wide receiver Arceto Clark, tight end Cooper Helfet, defensive tackle D'Anthony Smith and guard Jared Smith.
