Blue Bombers DL Vega agrees to terms with Patriots

It appears Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive lineman Jason Vega will be giving the NFL a try next season.

ESPN is reporting that Vega has agreed to terms with the New England Patriots.

Vega can't officially sign until he becomes a free agent on February 15, unless the Bombers decide to release him earlier.

Vega spent the last two seasons with the Blue Bombers, posting 66 tackles and 12 sacks.
