The Buffalo Bills enter another season hoping they can put an end to the longest playoff drought in the NFL, having last reached the post-season in 1999. Since then, the Bills have only had one winning season (9-7 in 2004) and have lost six or more games each of the last four years.

That is why the Bills fans are a tormented group, far too familiar with heartbreak. And that's not even mentioning the four straight Super Bowl losses in the early 1990s.

With so much turnover, both on the roster and in the front office, it may be hard for the Bills to write a script that ends with them reaching the post-season.
