DALLAS -- Brandan Wright has re-signed with the Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavericks announced the expected deal with the centre/forward on Thursday.

The 6-foot-10 Wright joined the Mavericks as a free agent in December 2011. He has played 113 games for Dallas, and last season averaged 8.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks a game while shooting 60 per cent from the field.

While contract details of the deal weren't released by the Mavericks, Wright's agent, Jim Tanner, said this week the deal is for $10 million over two years, plus incentives. Wright has played 227 career NBA games, playing in Golden State and New Jersey before joining the Mavericks.
