The Montreal Alouettes announced the re-signing of three players on Tuesday. Import linebacker Kyries Hebert and non-import long snapper Martin Bédard were both inked to three-year deals, while non-import kicker Sean Whyte has been retained for two more seasons.
Herbert finished the 2013 season with nine sacks, third best on the Alouettes and was named CFL Defensive Player of the Month for July.
Bédard has appeared in 79 games for the Alouettes and has recorded 39 special teams tackles to go along with his duties snapping the ball on field goals, extra points and punts.
Whyte played all 18 games last season for the Alouettes, connecting on 41 of 50 field goal attempts. In Week 5 against the Edmonton Eskimos, he matched a career best with five field goals earning Special Teams Player of the Week honours.
