The Montreal Alouettes are keeping a pair of players in the fold.
Prior to Tuesday's opening of the free agency period, the team has re-signed linebacker Kyries Hebert and kicker Sean Whyte.
Hebert, 33, has spent the past two season with the Alouettes after previous stints with the Ottawa Renegades, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. In 2013, Hebert made 68 tackles and had nine sacks and was the CFL Defensive Player of the Month for July.
Whyte was acquired from the B.C. Lions in 2011. The 28-year-old out of Santa Monica College has made 118 of the 143 field goals he's attempted.
The team was unable to come to terms with linebacker Shea Emry, who will become a free agent at noon on Tuesday.
