With the top spot in the Northeast Division on the line, the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins rivalry doesn't get any better than this.

The Canadiens are 2 -1 against their longtime rivals this season. Most recently, the Habs were able to squeeze out a shootout victory over the Bruins after trailing by three goals at TD Bank Garden on March 27. There is a possibility that the Habs might have to play Saturday's game without Tomas Plekanec, who is listed as a game-time decision. He was forced to miss Thursday's game against the Winnipeg Jets with a groin injury he suffered Wednesday in Philadelphia against the Flyers. However, Plekanec was at the Habs morning skate, practicing on his usual line with Michael Ryder and Brian Gionta. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him in the lineup Saturday. P.K. Subban was not at the morning skate, as he took a therapy day, but will play Saturday.

The Bruins will have a different look this time around, with the acquisition of Jaromir Jagr on Tuesday. The 41-year-old right winger has already made his presence felt. In his Bruins debut Thursday, he scored the lone goal of the game to give the Bruins the win over the New Jersey Devils. Jagr's linemates, 23-year-old Brad Marchand and 21-year-old Tyler Seguin, still can't believe they get the opportunity to play with a guy they grew up admiring.

"I think that awe factor is always going to be there," Marchand said after the morning skate. Jagr has had his fair share of rivalries throughout his career; New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins, but this rivalry is one he's looking forward to being a part of.

"Ask me after the game and I'll let you know what it is like," Jagr said with a grin.
