2014 Scotties Tournament of Hearts to be played in Montreal

KINGSTON, Ont. -- The 2014 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be played in Montreal.

The national women's curling championship is scheduled for Feb. 1-9 at the Maurice Richard Arena, the Canadian Curling Association announced Sunday.

Montreal last hosted the tournament in 1979.

The 2013 event is being played at the K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario.
