Champion Cruz to face Barao in comeback fight at UFC 169

TORONTO - Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, sidelined for two years due to two knee surgeries, will return to action on Feb 1 at UFC 169.

Cruz (19-1) will meet interim champion Renan Barao (33-1 with one no contest) in a unification bout in Newark, N.J.

In the main event at the Prudential Center, featherweight champion Jose Aldo (23-1) will faced second-ranked Ricardo Lamas (13-2).

The card will also feature a heavyweight bout between former champion Frank Mir (16-8) and Alistair Overeem (36-13 with one no contest).
