Canadian T.J. Grant has been forced to withdraw from his title bout with lightweight champion Benson Henderson at UFC 164.

Grant explained on Twitter that he is suffering from a concussion.

"Thanks everyone for your concerns," Grant wrote. "I am healing from a concussion I suffered in BJJ of all things. I hope to be back training very soon."

Anthony Pettis will step into the spot vacated by Grant. This will be a rematch of Henderson and Pettis bout at the final WEC event, where Henderson earned a unanimous decision victory.

UFC 164 takes places on August 31 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
