TORONTO -- A cut has forced Swedish light-heavyweight Alexander (The Mauler) Gustafsson out of the main event of Saturday's televised UFC card in Stockholm.

Swedish training partner Iliir Latifi will step in for Gustafsson against former Strikeforce champion Gegard Mousasi (33-3-2), UFC president Dana White announced via Twitter.

Gustafsson (15-1) had won six in a row and had hoped to move to the top of the 205-pound contenders' line with a win over Mousasi.

The UFC said the Swede suffered the cut in training.
