(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Rays and second baseman Kelly Johnson have reportedly agreed to a one-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed in the Fox Sports report.

Johnson joins former Blue Jays SS Yunel Escobar, who was acquired from the Miami Marlins after Toronto traded him as part of the Mark Buehrle, Josh Johnson, Jose Reyes deal.

The 30-year-old veteran's best season was 2010, when he hit 26 homers, drove in 71 runs and batted .284 in 154 games for the Diamondbacks.
