Wednesday's series finale between the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox has been postponed due to the threat of severe weather.

A makeup date for the game has yet to be announced.

Esmil Rogers was expected to make the start for the Blue Jays, while the White Sox were scheduled to counter with lefty Chris Sale.

Both teams are on the road in Texas in their next series, as the Blue Jays will move on to face the Rangers beginning on Thursday and the White Sox, after another off-day, will be in Houston to take on the Astros on Friday.

There is no official announcement on how this postponement will affect the Blue Jays rotation, the Rangers are expected to send ace Yu Darvish to the hill in the series opener.
