Roughnecks end regular season with a victory against Stealth

LANGLEY, B.C. -- Shawn Evans had three goals and four assists as the Calgary Roughnecks wrapped up their regular season on Saturday with a 14-8 win against the host Vancouver Stealth in National Lacrosse League action.

Calgary will have home-floor advantage in its first-round, single elimination, West Division semifinal playoff match against the Colorado Mammoth next weekend.

Dane Dobbie and Curtis Dickson also scored three goals apiece for the Roughnecks (12-6), Jeff Shattler had two goals and four assists while Geoff Snider, Garrett McIntosh and Karsen Leung each scored once.

Rhys Duch and Tyler Digby had a pair of goals apiece for the Stealth (4-14) and Cody Bremner, Ilija Gajic, Justin Salt and Tyler Garrison added singles.

Calgary's Mike Poulin stopped 33-of-40 shots in 52 minutes of action while Frankie Scigliano gave up one goal on four shots. Vancouver's Matt Roik kicked out 42-of-56 shots in a losing cause.
