Pace scores two as Coquitlam takes 2-0 lead over Six Nations

Tyler Pace scored two goals and assisted on three more as the Coquitlam Adanacs downed the Six Nations Arrows 11-6 in Game 2 of the Minto Cup on Sunday. Brett Hawrys and Eli McLaughlin had two goals and two assists apiece, James Rahe had three goals, and Michael Messanger and Jordan Gilles also scored for the Adanacs, who took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series for Canada's junior-A lacrosse championship. Making a Deal

Toronto Rock general manager Terry Sanderson has announced the acquisition of transition player Brock Sorensen from the Minnesota Swarm in exchange for transition player Ethan O'Connor and Toronto's first round pick in the 2017 NLL Draft. Full Story.

Three for One

Wesley Berg scored three goals and assisted on another as the Coquitlam Adanacs edged the Six Nations Arrows 7-6 in Game 1 of the Minto Cup on Saturday. Eli McLaughlin scored twice and Tyler Pace and Jean Luc Chetner also scored to give Coquitlam a 1-0 advantage in the best-of-seven series for the Canadian junior-A lacrosse championship.
