Kentucky Derby, Preakness winner California Chrome to race
Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner California Chrome will return to racing in September, when the colt is set to run in the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby. Ami's Holiday has won the 124th running of the $500,000 Breeders' Stakes, the third and final jewel of the Canadian Triple Crown. The 2-to-1 shot, ridden by Luis Contreras, came on strong down the stretch to pass Squeeze the King and win the 1 1/2-mile turf race. Full Story.

Lexie Lou picked up from where she left off by claiming first place at the $250,000 Wonder Where Stakes on Sunday at Woodbine Racetrack. In her first race since winning the Queen's Plate last month, the three-year-old filly ran the 1 1/4 mile turf track in 2:00.90 to capture the final leg of the Triple Tiara series. Full Story.
