AFC North

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens have a difficult schedule from a fantasy standpoint, including one of the worst slates for fantasy running backs. While he may give up carries to RB Bernard Pierce, RB Ray Rice remains the focus of Baltimore's attack and will need to grind out yards against some tough run defences from Week 10 to Week 14. Things won't be much easier for QB Joe Flacco, with the exception of his fantasy playoff schedule. WR Torrey Smith should see more targets, but needs to show he can beat double teams.

Cincinnati Bengals

The schedule makers did no favours for the Bengals to start the year, as they face very stout defences in the opening weeks. If the Bengals can survive that early season gauntlet, things get easier and should allow QB Andy Dalton and the offence to find their stride. If you decide to roll with a Bengal as one of your fantasy starters, be warned that Week 15 and 16 will pit them against the Steelers and Vikings. If RB Giovani Bernard can carve out a role in this offence, he could be a factor down the stretch.

Cleveland Browns

The Browns open the season against a restocked Dolphins team, before heading on the road for two weeks against the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens and an underrated Vikings' defence. It's not an ideal start for RB Trent Richardson and the running game. Cleveland will also be missing WR Josh Gordon, which all adds up to a difficult start for the Dawg Pound. TE Jordan Cameron is a popular sleeper, but keep in mind that most of the Browns' opponents were strong against the tight end last season.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers' 2013 campaign doesn't look overly menacing from a fantasy perspective, as long as their offence can find its identity early in the year. The Steelers are asking a variety of young players to step up this season, both at skill positions and on their line. From Week 8 to Week 15, Pittsburgh's schedule softens, which should allow rookie RB Le'Veon Bell to make some noise as owners make a post-season push. WR Antonio Brown and WR Emmanuel Sanders will see a lot more targets with WR Mike Wallace gone.
