SAINT JOHN, N.B. -- Russia's Anna Sidorova won the bronze medal at the women's world curling championship Sunday with a 7-6 win over Ji-sun Kim of South Korea.

South Korea scored three in the ninth end to lead 6-4, but Russia countered with two in the 10th and stole a point in the extra end for its first medal at this competition.

Canada's Rachel Homan meets Switzerland's Binia Feltscher for the gold medal later in the day.

Homan settled for bronze at last year's tournament in Riga, Latvia.
